insane battery life on build 10136 !!!!

So, i have lumia 830. So far with gaming and music listening and just checking the time, the phone has lost only 25% of battery in the last 7 hours.

Before on 8.1 or on 10080, i would get down to 20% in 4 hours with such activity.

Has your battery life increased on this new build?

I would say better than 10080 but maybe everyone should make a comment about his Battery Life. I just found out that the Store (beta) accounts for 40% of my battery drain if the "Battery Use" Feature is correct even though i just installed a few apps since the hard reset.

Still haven't installed 10136 on my 830, but it's been pretty good on 10080. Not quite stock, but good.

Aside from the great battery life as you say, you are using it for a lot of things. Does this mean that it's stable enough for a daily driver? Last build was awful for me so I had to redo everything. Don't really care to do that again.

without a reset it wasn't usable at all. post reset it's usable. if you're willing to put up with regular application crashes (especially when typing), some flaky bluetooth, and slower general performance it's not too bad. lots of RESUME and LOADING though.

I suspect the extended battery life may be related to a lot of the live tiles not updating. Reduced functionality via limited services could result in what looks like extended battery life when in reality it's just doing less ;-)

10136 is the first Mobile build I've tried, so I'm comparing to 8.1, but... on my HTC One M8, battery life is MUCH worse. At best, it's about half of what I got on 8.1, but it's hard to judge objectively... I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually worse than that.

Also, my phone heats up A LOT... There are times when it gets so hot I need to just turn it off, and set it down. So there could be something with CPU usage ramping unnecessarily effecting my battery life.
