Install an XAP - Nokia 822?

Hi,

I purchased a game in the store that is no longer published, (Doodle Jump). I see there's an option to download the xap file and then install it manually. I've downloaded it and copied it to my SD card as described in this link, but I don't see the "SD Card" option anywhere under the store.....

Can anyone tell me how to do this? The phone is a Nokia 822 on Verizon.

I have the same problem on my 820, we need to take out & reinsert the memory card, only then the apps will show up, its sad that we need to take out the battery too(in my 820), so i dont really use this feature.
Tried it on my 620, need to remove & re-insert the card, only then it works.

Even if you got it - before installation, the phone checks if the xap on the card is signed and available in the store - if not, you can't install it.

The thing I don't understand is I don't even see an SD card option. The article below says....

Tap Start > tap Store > then tap SD card.

I don't even see an SD Card option. What do I need to do in order to even see the "SD Card" item?

You need an xap file on the card, then it'll appear after rebooting.

You need original xap's (cracked doesn't work with this method), then you should reboot your device, wait a minute after start screen appear.

Doodle Jump is no longer published, so you can't install it anymore.

This is bull****. We should be able to reinstall games that we purchased.

And why the duck is the xap still up there in store if I can't use it?
