Intel HD preference disappeared

it disappeared from the taskbar tray and also when i saerch and click on it it doesnt open. i restarted it and my surface pro 2 is also on the latest updates.

Microsoft removed it in the latest firmware.
To get it back, install the Intel drivers from Intel website. Note that if you do this, the firmware will appear again, be sure to hide it, else it will put back the Microsoft one.
To install the Intel drivers, download the ZIP file, and uninstall form device manager the current hand, restart, (don't forget to hide the System firmware update), and install from the device manager its drivers by pointing the drivers to the downloaded zip file.
