Intel releases new Spectre fixes for Skylake, Kaby Lake, and Coffee Lake chips

Intel has issued updated microcode to its OEM partners who can then push fixes to customers via firmware updates.

Intel has had a rough go of things with its attempts to roll out fixes for the Spectre vulnerability disclosed last month, but it's making another attempt with a set of patches for a range of chips today.
