Here are the latest Intel updates for the Go.

  • 10.25.0.10 improves system stability.
  • 24.20.100.6287 addresses brightness issue associated with Windows 10 October 2018 Update, version 1809.
  • 24.20.100.6287 graphics extension driver.

I downloaded them yesterday and so far I haven't had any issue with losing brightness controls. And maybe it's just me, but web browsing on Firefox seems faster. I know there was an issue with Firefox causing the graphic driver to crash, which again, I haven't noticed since the Intel update.

Has anyone noticed this brightness related bug since the Intel updates? The screen is too bright when it wakes from sleep. While I do have battery saver on to conserve as much battery as possible, the brightness looks like it's set at 100%. (I usually have it around 70) I still have control over the brightness setting, and even if I move the slider just 1 percent, the brightness will plummet back to where it should be. It's mildly annoying but far less of a pain than what I was experiencing before.
