I've seen this phone on ebay claiming to be international version unlocked. Anyone tried one? I want this phone for T-Mobile.

An international unlocked model WILL WORK on T-Mobile's network, it's just to what degree.
If Wikipedia and Nokia's product page are accurate, it looks like you will only miss LTE, with 3G coverage available in T-Mo's refarmed areas (currently being built out)
but if its any consolation, you'll get 2G/EDGE data for sure
