Internet Explorer high battery usage on 925

Today i noticed that my battery got drained quite fast. When i checked the battery settings, it said that IE is in use, though i don't have it opened.
So how come the battery usage of IE is so high, even if it's not in use?

I have the same issue and it isn't allowed to be active in the background. Tried softreset without s change..
Maybe anyone has a solution

The in use doesn't mean it's running. It shows percentage of battery drain over time. The background info also is over a period of time. It doesn't mean it's running when you check this screen. The reporting time frame is adjustable. IE is a big battery hog on this phone, but I think a lot of it is just the screen being on for a long period of time while browsing. Using IE, I expect the battery to be down a good 20 percent after an hour's worth of browsing.

I am not impressed with the battery life at all.

Charged my phone before going to sleep. Battery was 100%, about 8 hours later, battery was under 20%
