Internet Explorer on WP 8.1

Has anyone been having trouble with IE? Like tabs force closing or trouble viewing sites like desktop view and mobile view? For me it's getting annoying now I use to tolerate it now I can't.

Lumia 925 running Preview for Developers WP 8.1 Cyan

The good news is there is finally a browser, Opera, in the store that isn't just IE in a different wrapper. The bad news is that it's still in beta and is more buggy than IE although you might be able to view some sites with it that are giving you issues in IE.

Thanks I know about it used it before when it was first released. Has it gotten better?

Opera has really lost its way in the last few years and the WP version is pretty poor.
I tried the beta as all my bookmarks are in Opera Link and it would be nice to have them in WP. It was so bad I've moved to Chrome & EverSync for the phone.

They used to be an initiative company but after 10 years use I've now moved on.

It's still way too beta for me, has a tendency to crash, but then IE crashes at times too. WP really needs a better browser.

UC is just IE in a different wrapper.

That's true, as is Maxthon, but it can render some sites which are unusable when viewed with IE.
