Internet On Touch..

I dont have a Touch just yet, as of now.. Just have questions, The speed of the internet I hear its high speed, or is it as fast as a 56k?

The Sprint Touch has EVDO, which means DSL-like speeds of up to 800 Kb/sec.

The GSM Touch has EDGE, which means maximum speeds of around 220 Kb/sec, but usually much slower.
