Internet sharing not working

Anyone else having problems with Internet Sharing in Windows Phone 8.1?

Other devices can connect to it but report "Limited Access". I've tried other computers, using Google DNS, changing the connection details, fiddling with APN settings, restarting the phone...

UK phone on T-Mobile (EE), who don't apply tethering restrictions.

Nope. Used to use it regularly (although since the 1020 is new I can't swear to having used it on that, but it definitely worked on my 925).

I've just tried a different SIM in the phone and still experience the same problem. I should say that when I got it I reflashed to the generic UK firmware to remove the O2 branding.

It seems to be an 8.1 problem.

Can't tell you exactly what can it be as I haven't installed 8.1 update yet (just waiting for the official final release).
But I had similar problem with my Lumia 920 (unbranded): I couldn't open any site, but Skype worked, so I understood that it was a DNS issue, which was solved when I manually entered the DNS address (I used Google DNS).

By the way, did you try to manually enter the DNS of your mobile operator, not the Google's one?
