Internet sharing now works without ATT permission?

For those of you not on ATT (I'm on Straight Talk) have you tried to use Internet Sharing? Before it would pop up a message that I need to call ATT at 611. On a whim I decided to try it today and BOOM it worked without that dumb message! That's amazing!

On my t2 I still get the messagem to call att

hrm...I guess I'm just lucky? I do have my carrier set to Tracfone in the Connection Setup app, not sure if that matters.

Says to call 611.

Call 611 on mine too. What is the connection setup app? Is that for DEV phones?
