Invisible app

My phone( L720) gets updates for an app( Musixmatch lyrics..) that exists nowhere in my phone. How do I get rid of this?

The only time I've heard of an "app" that "updates" and doesn't show on the list of apps is when it's actually a podcast that was accidentally subscribed to.

But this is a genuine app, and it gets updated regularly. I updated it twice or thrice, but the updates are quite frequent, so I am looking for a way out.

Find the app in the windows phone store and install it from there. Or re-install from windowsphone.com

Then uninstall it in the usual manner.

Problem should then disappear.

When I look for the app in the windows phone store, it shows that the app id already installed. So when I press the view option, the start screen is displayed.

It seems to be installed as a Configuration app

Its a common issue it mainly occurs with the apps installed in the SD card.
Use this method to reinstall it.
