Wouldn't it be better for people who want a new phone every year?

I found that with T-Mobile Jump! Which I have the first version and grandfathered in. I can upgrade my device every 6 months no matter how many payments have been required (usually 4)... that with T-Mobile jump it is about the same cost as the Big 2 with subsidized plans. It is actually just a tad cheaper plus I can upgrade my phone every 6 months. If I don't have a phone payment than my plan is cheaper![]()

Erm, I never said anything about Jump, just Next...
with Next your contract is the same price as now, so say your lines are $25 ea they stay $25ea and you pay a monthly fee on top of your contract for a set price, usually the price of the phone spread out over the months chosen. If you go for the contract renewal price, say 2 years for 99$ for the phone, then they can up your contract price to the new price which is $40 per line. This happened to me and the ATT rep tried to tell me it was cheaper to do the next plan, when all you were doing was buying the phone over time. If you can, just outright buy the phone off contract, if not then next is the second cheapest option.
I'm saving $30/year on my next plan. AND I'm keeping my 1520.
