Is Cortana less functional with this "Insider Preview" build

Outside of setting an alarm time, it appears that Cortana has lost quite a few IQ points since 8.1.

You can't search for a file, find or change setting on the phone, or anything else. She will just lead you to the Bing search engine. (Lumia 1020)

I just tried a few settings options with Cortana. She correctly understood and activated the following:

Open Settings
Enable Airplane Mode / Airplane Mode On
Disable Airplane Mode / Airplane Mode Off
Enable Quiet Hours / Quiet Hours On
Disable Quiet Hours / Quiet Hours Off
Enable Bluetooth /Bluetooth On
Disable Bluetooth / Bluetooth Off
Play <album>/<playlist>

I'm sure she understands many more commands, but these were the few I tested.

I am wondering the same thing, what the heck happened?? I just tried saving a picture from my phone by doing a cortana search and it took me 3x as many clicks to finally save the picture. way more difficult than 8.1.

I really hope they put cortana back the way she was in 8.1 and stop simply routing me to the m.bing webpage.

I find Cortana to be hit and miss, I can ask her to play Billy Joel and viola, she plays it, I ask her to play Steve Perry and I get a Bing search result. I dont use it for system commands, usually for music while on bluetooth. HTC One M8
