Is Instagram even useful if hardly any of your friends use it?

So I've been thinking, except for maybe a handful of people, none of my friends are active on Instagram. Instead they post all their pictures and everything on Facebook. Also WP doesn't seem to have a shortage of photo filter apps and its easy to share to Facebook using a WP. So would the lack of Instagram even affect me? I'm sure there are lots of people in the same boat. Especially after the mess up Instagram did with the image rights and all that.

None of my friends uses Twitter. They all post their stuff on facebook. Imho WP8 doesn't need any Twitter clients. Delete them, guys!

FOR THE OP: not as useful if hardly any of your friends use it. You can find camera apps that apply filters like fhotoroom for windows phone and many others for all platforms. Instagram as a social network thou what separates it from the rest.

You'd be surprised how many followers you can get just by posting interesting pictures.
