Is it judicious to wait Windows 10 to change cumputer ?

Hello !
I have a honorable Lenovo U410, working really great for it's age, and I was looking forward to change my laptop and upgrade to a more recent device. I was looking Dell 7000 or XPS 13, but anyway, they're bundled with Windows 8.1.

My question is there : is it great to buy a Windows 8.1 device, then update it to Windows 10 later, or wait a little bit, then grab my device running Windows 10 from the start ?

It does not really matter. You always can update to windows 10.
Not sure what " a little while" is but it still could take 6 month before a windows 10 device is launched.
An advantage of waiting is that you could get a device with the newest hardware and/or a price reduction of the now current models. (but that is always the case).
