Is it possible to delete and re-install the Groove App on my 950 XL?

I know how to do in on the PC using powershell, or at least the delete part. They really should make all apps optional so that you can replace them with perferable one in the future. Especially Groove since they don't have their heart into making a first class media player anymore and it is too bloaty for use as a basic player.

My simply stopped playing anything....nothing...not even groove radio.....now im stuck w hundreds of songs I cant play. And no I'm nit resetting.

try locating it in the app list using the web dev management page from your pc, there you can uninstall it i guess, yea what a bummer, lot of problems could be easily fixed but microsoft deems those apps too good to be removed or at least manually reinstalled from the store

Core apps cannot be uninstalled fir the time being. For now, you could try VLC player. Free from app store.

Core apps can be uninstalled. If you Google there are several blogs on how to do it. I have uninstalled them and reinstalled them myself at work. This was done in Windows 10.

another reason for hyping that surface phone if we can finally get x86 windows, all will be solved, if not by Microsoft then whoever else needs to, using powershell we can reinstall malfunctioning w10 apps, if only we had such a thing in w10m... or if only Microsoft were not so ******** to make apps impossibly hard to uninstall for some ridiculous reason

Yes, it is. You can easily uninstall it with CCleaner. Then you find it in the Store and reinstall it.
