Is it possible to get from the slow into the fast ring?

Is it possible? at the moment i am in the slow ring but i want to try out the newest build. So is it possible to select the "fast ring" option after downgrading to windows phone 8.1 and then get the newest build or am i stuck in the slow ring?

You'll have to restore back to 8.1, then install Windows Insider again and choose fast ring this time.

It works, I just did it myself.

But normally you would only have to change to fast ring. But with this build and hopefully ONLY this build, you have to go back to 8.1.
