There are rumors that Nokia is planning to re-enter smartphone business. Although it can't happen before 2016. What I read in some articles is Nokia shifted most of its top level engineers, scientists and other R&D department within itself before selling its devices services to Microsoft. Now without those engineers, creative artists and others, is microsoft really capable with the legacy with which Nokia has left behind?

Nokia was extremely creative with this cameras, screens and some of its amazing softwares. What does Microsoft have after purchasing and device and services from Nokia? We dont want these Lumia devies to be like HTC or Samsung or like any other CRAPPY WP device. Without Nokia WP smartphones are a bunch of junks

Samsung windows phones aren't bad. Maybe the old htc phones though. Without nokia, Microsoft has many different OEMs making phones. They can finally have the spotlight instead of nokias overshadowing them. Like on windows on PCs

What you claim seems unrealistic, since microsoft would likely have known who those top engineers were and seeing them being moved would obviously be an issue as they would effectively be buying nothing. One good pointer to this being untrue is the fact that Nokias top camera guy was one of those who moved to Microsoft, and cameras are one of their key innovations. Not sure they would let him go if your story was correct.

How may OEM are making WPs? Or should I ask how may reputable OEMs are making WPs?

Besides camera, Nokia braught other revolutionary features to its device, like wireless charging, Clear Black display in their screen, the tough polycarbonate shell, that can save someone from bullet, some augmented reality apps like City Lens.

MS is 90% software organization, I haven't seen anything revolutionary that MS has braught to its hardware, whether its Surface pro tablet, Surface phones or XBox. Nokia device and services within MS they didn't mentain the quality, take the example of 930 where in order to cut the cost, MS decided to go for some inexpensive AMOLED screen, which doesn't have its own buffer, because of which, there is no Glasnce.
