Is poor battery performance enough to drive you away from Windowsphone and the Lumia 920/1020?

Have you stopped beating your wife? same thing
I don't think I have poor battery performance.

Yea I don't know what people are talking about. The phone has a generous 2000ma battery. I have had my 920 for almost a year. No battery problems. Maybe people who have battery problems need to look at what they are doing, the apps they have running in the background (up to 15 allowed) and also if their signal strength is poor and the phone is doing a lot of "hunting" for connections to a tower. From what I can see, the phone has no inherent problem with battery life.

Since gddr2 my battery life improved. I have all activated except Bluetooth and even after a lot of use I've still 20-30% at 10pm... So no battery problems from my side

It gets me through my day where it constantly switch between data connection and wifi depending upon availability. Few hours of gaming and music. Once i return home i have made this a habit to put it on charge via usb. It syncs the photos at the same time. Thus its not a problem for me. My android used to die within 6 or 7 hours

If GDR3 will not include a firmware fix for the overheating bug i will switch to my old iphone 4s!

P.S see my suggestion and if you agree vote for it! Resolve The Firmware/OS bug That Causes Major Overheating of The WP8 Devices!

I see you created another thread mentioning the phone heating up. Your post is very generic and doesn't say anything about what you do on your phone that causes it to heat up. Nonetheless you are posting about your HTC 8X in a 920 forum? Doesn't make sense :orly:

Yes, I also doubt if he just think's it overheating when it gets hot or that the OS shuts down (real overheating)

Wow you can read an entire thread and your conclusion is that it's everyone's fault? So your own single experience of one handset is research enough? I'm pleased your battery is performing well but a lot of us have underperforming handsets, have you heard some overheat? We're not making this up. To say we need to look at what we're doing is patronizing in the extreme. Have you read all the research on this issue on this very site on battery drain? Thought not.
