What about from a Microsoft Store or Amazon? Can you still claim the credit then? Also, does this apply if you pay full price?

It sounds like Microsoft is footing the bill, so why would they care where you buy the phone?

I can't answer definitively, but when filling out the redemption form, there's a pull-down selection to indicate where you purchased it from - there are several options besides Verizon on that list.
