I currently have an HTC 8s. Since we're not getting update 1, I will change it. I want to get a Lumia 635.

Is it worth it?

Also did anyone with a 635 get update 1?

Treat yourself. Just get one. It wouldn't hurt your wallet that much.
And if you can sell your HTC for a $100, so much the better for your wallet.

I updated my 635 to GDR1. I think it's a great little phone, especially for the money. I'm enjoying mine a lot.

I got upgraded to the 635 from the 520 as a surprise from a friend, and I must say, the 635 is excellent for the money.

It easily is worth the $100 plus more.

Well I just got it this morning (finally tried out Cortana ha ha!) It's a great phone! Better than what I expected. I'm very happy with it!
