Is The 640XL Coming to T-Mobile?

There's a article on wpcentral saying it I but I've only seen tmobile mentioning the 640 only with no mention of their version of the 640xl

Has it been confirmed tmobile is getting the xl as well?

Wow that sucks I don't want the 640 LOL i wonder would we be able to buy the ATT version and use it in T-Mobile hopefully the Microsoft store will sell it unlocked

The LTE version of both the 640 and 640XL have support for most North American wireless bands so there will most likely be an unlocked version sold thru MS down the road.

I call FUD. T-MO hasn't come out and said if they'll carry it or not yet. Not announcing != not carrying.

If this is true, then it looks like I going to have to get a unlocked version or find a carrier that would offer the 640xl.

Given their track record with Windows Phone, I'd actually argue that the XL not coming to T-Mobile is actually quite probable. They'd rather you by a iPhone 6+ for that.

I am in the same boat. I've been waiting over a year for a full featured low end Lumia phone, so close with the 640 series. I need the XL
I may switch to Cricket if it's offered there first, I love T-Mobile when home, but on the road it tanks hard. And my 521 is dying a slow death.

At this point will just have to wait and see... The fact that they did confirm the 640 is a miracle in itself

The fact that t-mobile may not be carrying the 640 XL will not stop me though. I have already made my mind on this phone and I will buy it unlocked if needed.
