GLoss is good, fingers print not an issue unless you have your phone in your face all the time, nobody is going to care.

Grip is better and its much prettier

First, the way you ask the question presumes the gloss finish is to a certain degree bad which is somewhat leading.

Well stated. The OP gives the reader no option but to defend the gloss finish. FWIW, I've held them at the store (yeah, with security cable attached) and the gloss finish was fantastic and "grippy."

I will confirm that "I' have a better grip on the glossy kind. I just exchanged my black matted one to the red one 1 hour ago and I could tell/feel the difference right away.

Like I said in my previous post that I believe with my dry hands, the glossy kind provides a better grip. My 2 cents.
