Is the photo quality different on Cyan?

I was taking a few low light photos tonight with Cyan. I previously had Developer's Preview. I thought maybe the photos looked more grainy/more fuzz in low light. Maybe I need to adjust the ISOs more.

I'm certain Cyan didn't make any noticeable changes to the camera or camera apps. There were possibly and probably a few tweaks to make photos slightly more efficient but other than that nothing else.

1520 here. Images are better, most noticeable in low light. Continuous Focus helps too.

Really outta say what phone you all have. 1520 and 930 really needed some help and they got a little.

Oops, I have a 1520. Again, going to have to play around with it some more. I thoroughly enjoy photo taking on the 1520. Nothing else really compares to it.

The 1520 does have a brilliant camera. A little annoying that you can't access the 16 Mp pictures directly from the phone but other than that, for 5 Mp pictures...
Cyan did add tweaks but they should only improve shutter speed and auto-focus. Maybe little tweaks to weak points in the phone's camera like the HDR mode.
I suggest doing a lot of picture taking.

Try "zoom" in the app store.

You can't actually email 16MP images without being compressed though, can you? Seems like this App may only be good for viewing pics on the phone. Because I think you can natively upload high res to OneDrive. I know you can't send a 16MP image over MMS. Lol

You are correct about the emailing. I was just informing him that he can access the the high res photos to view on the phone. I downloaded a 16mp image from OneDrive into the app and then selected the full pixel option for viewing and I was stunned at the difference between what you see in the native photo viewer and this app.

I'll look into it, but the 1520 still has the best 5Mp pictures I have ever seen, and the 16Mp, although better, isn't as good as you'd expect from a picture like that. The 5Mp tend to have more obscure details, with the 16Mp providing support and information to improve the details, noise reduction, focus and etc. of the 5Mp. I honestly don't think I'd use that app much if I got it, but I'm just saying it goes against Windows Phones to not have the option.

You can view the 16mp images in Nokia camera.
