Is Denim available for AT&T Lumia 820?

Migrated from Verizon to AT&T but daughter did not want to give up her VZW Lumia 822 due to its smaller size.

Bought a $49 mint condition Lumia 820 on eBay and trying to configure it exactly like her 822 was.

Is Denim available for this device? I want the transparent tiles and other goodies.

Please advise how to upgrade to Denim. I can only get Phone Update to pull down Cyan.

As a long time owner of a 820 I can tell you it is not available and never will be. I doubt it will even receive W10, but at least there is a small amount of hope that that might happen. You probably would have been better off to get a 59$ 640 from AT&T. It already has Denim. Thats what I did, my 820 is now my backup phone. There is very little difference in the performance between the 640 and the 820/

Officially no.

You can use the Preview for Developers to update it.

Also, 8.1 + Cyan already has those transparent tiles and stuff.

But anyways, I would use the Preview for Developers, but as of now, I just used Insider to take my ATT 820 up to 10 to test drive.

That's what I was afraid of. Tried to sell my daughter on the 640 (her brother has one) but it's just not small like the 820/822.

I've seen some threads about Insider Preview being installed on the 820s. Is that possible on the ATT ones, and is that an option anybody has tried?

Absolutely, I said I did it to my ATT 820. Its not a huge loss considering its probably seen its last firmware update in Lumia Cyan anyway as a model.
