Yes Yahoo mail is easily set up on a WP8 device.
Go into settings and add your yahoo mail and password.
Yahoo mail will sync with your phone.

I have 2 Yahoo mail accounts set up on me phone.

Yeah. I have been using one for awhile. Just go to store and search yahoo.
