Is there a version of the 930 that is factory unlocked and will work without issue on ATT?

The title pretty much says it. Is there a version of the Lumia 930 that was sold internationally but which comes factory unlocked and will work without issue on ATT's network, to include getting LTE? For example, this is possible with a particular version of the 1520 (RM-938/1520.3), but I am not sure if the same thing is possible with the 930.

Thanks in advance.

AT&T Bands -

4G HSPA and HSPA+ use 850Mhz(Band 5) and 1900Mhz(Band 2) LTE uses Band 17(700Mhz), Band 5(850Mhz), Band 2(1900Mhz), Band 4(1700/2100Mhz)

L930 uses

2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
4G Network LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600

Even with this information I would still approach AT&T to ensure that it will work.

I thought ATT blocked LTE on non-native devices?

The 1520.3 (RM-938) is supposed to work perfectly when it comes to LTE on ATT, as opposed to the RM-937, which supposedly does not. I was not sure if there were multiple unlocked variants of the 930 that had the same capacity.

I have an unlocked 930 which I bought on Newegg.

I am using it on AT&T here in the states without any issues. Works great.

The only caveat is that you will not get LTE, but you will get HSPA+. I have not really noticed much difference from my old HTC One (M7) as to data speeds.

I live outside Philadelphia and have H+ almost all the time. I also do a lot of travel for work and have recently been in LA, Chicago, Raleigh NC, Boston and New York where it functioned great with H+ connectivity.

I just took the SIM out of my HTC One (M7), cut it down and put it into the 930.

Visual Voicemail, SMS Texting, everything just worked.

HIGHLY recommended phone, I love it.

Lawrencepepper, do you have any further detail on which version of 930 you have... presumably the RM-1045 listed at NewEgg? Do you know what market it originated from?

Also (pardon an elementary question)... presuming the 930 comes with Cyan, is there any way for folks on AT&T to update to Denim?

EDIT: Here's the answer to my Denim question: http://forums.windowscentral.com/no...ia-930-t-usa-how-will-i-get-denim-update.html

AT&T's LTE bands include 2, 4 and 17. It means no foreign phones can roam to the US and work on AT&T's LTE network. It's using the different bands with other countries. So forget about it.
