Windows Central Question

Voice notes

Hello. Had a question. Switched from an iPhone to a Lumia 830.

Is there a way to create a note -- by speaking it -- and having it transcribed? Cortana can do one note -- and put it into OneNote, but what if you want to append to it.

Let's take an example. Lets say you go to Cortana and say "Take a note: Milk." That note is then created and the word milk is transcribed.

Let's say you go into the note, and you want to add "cheese." There's a microphone icon in OneNote -- but that takes an audio recording only and doesn't transcribe. What if you want to add to the list so it reads "milk" and "cheese."

Any suggestions?

Re: Voice notes

Hi. thanks for the prompt reply!
I thought so, too, however, in OneNote if you press the microphone icon - it simply records your voice and inserts the audio in the file.
Looking for a way to create a grocery store list where you could speak items ... and append....
