My 1020 is now 2.5 years old and I want to know how much the battery capacity have dropped.

How do I check this?

You may use the AIDA64 app for this. In my Lumia 1020, the current battery wear is 5% after over two years of ownership.

Thank you for the tip. I actually reacalled using that very same app a long time ago for that, but this is all it gave me today.

How did you find this out? I assume it was in the battery tab? As you can see in my pic, there's no info about battery wear.

That's strange. There should be a label there called "Wear Level" under "Battery". But the interface of your Aida64 looks very different from mine - are you still in Windows Phone 8.1? I've upgraded mine to Windows 10 Mobile already, and the app versions might be different. My Aida64 is version 2.0.6.0.

That must be it, I'm still on 8.1 and the version is 1.1.1.0. I guess I must have been on W10 when I tried it the last time.

Is it still possible to go back to 8.1 in case I don't like W10?

Yes, it is still possible, though I haven't tried it myself yet. The WDRT should do the trick, but do some reading on it first.

I think the "module" that describes battery wear sends data in multiples of 5, so 5%, 10%, 15% - it's more affordable that way. So it's possible that your battery has between 5% and 0% wear, exclusive of 5%.
