Is there a way to use the volume button to snap a picture?

I'm upgrading to a lumia 640 from my 920. I'm missing my dedicated shutter button. I was thinking maybe the volume button could act as the shutter.?

Nope, that isn't an option. But I do agree with you, the dedicated camera button is great. I hope as Microsoft simplifies it's lines, they keep little things that keep Windows Phones special, like camera buttons in their phones.
