Is there any solution to whatsApp Speaker noise. This thing is eating up my Phone battery !

whenever you open any whatsApp chat window....bring ur speaker near to your ear...u'll hear a buzzing sound. This is what i am talking about.

Listen to your speaker like Rahul says (who has an awesome avatar lol) - it's weird Microsoft tolerates this workaround actually.

Yea that's what I was talking about. It's been in WhatsApp since the app used to use (and i still still does) the audio API in WP7 to keep itself alive. The sound in itself doesn't really bother me its the fact that WhatsApp takes over the sound controls sometimes and I don't know if disabling it would decrease power consumption.

Even in 8.1 it rarely uses This workaround. I have seen it a few Times on my 8X and Lumia 925
