Is there any sort of idea when the next WP flagship will release?

I saw on my Cortana some time ago about a possible flagship release in May 2015 (of course, I can't find this anymore). Searching the web briefly seems to suggest September 2015 as the next flagship release date. I was wondering if there is any sort of idea when that next flagship is set to arrive? My contract is up in March, so waiting til May I could possibly deal with but I don't want to be stuck waiting with my semi-broken phone for over half a year to get a new one.

You say semi-broken phone. What phone do you have and what's wrong with it? Just curious.

And MS seems allergic to releasing high end phones before the release of Windows 10 so it would not surprise me if the next true flagship doesn't come until late summer or early fall.

My contract has been up for a couple months... 920. 2 years ago I didn't think I wouldn't have an upgrade option... I'm very disappointed and will probably be picking up an Android device

All the assumptions are late summer or fall for a new high end Lumia. Sadly.

Might have an HTC One M9 or even a Samsung model. Who knows.

Really hope they make a phone that can compete with the upcoming S6 and IPhone 6, and take their time doing it. The high-end Lumias are great phones, but they need to create something that can impress with hardware and design to match the hype that they'll hopefully generate with Windows 10.

I know alot of people say that hardware isn't the biggest factor for a good phone, but I feel like if they really want to create something that'll get people interested in Windows Phones, they need to make something that appeals to everyone. High-tier hardware for the really technical people, a fashionable, attractive design for the people who care about aesthetics, and of course, an improved OS experience with Windows 10 to appeal to everyone.

Lumia 822. The screen is cracked after one too many drops, it refuses to load one of my microSD cards (although to be fair, I haven't tested the card on another phone, just a computer), and the microUSB port is absolutely unusable (I had to get a wireless charging back/plate just to continue using it).

You know what still competes well with more modern phones? The 1520. I'm serious.
