Is there any way to reset live tile notifications without launching an app ?

Let's say I get notification from Instagram , I know it is my friend next to me and can clear notification from status bar by sliding down.However , that "1" number on live tile is bothering me a lot.Is there any way to disappear it without even tocuhing the app or something ?

If I clear the notification from the status bar (mail), then the live tile resets automatically. Maybe devs need to implement that feature.
