Is there Gif support in messaging app?

I searched but couldn't find any mention of this. Does the Windows 10 support gif files in the messaging app? Specifically can you view them in messages without having to use another app?

I'm going to say no... Was trying to test, but I couldn't get a GIF to save to my phone or share from the browser... Could be an issue because it's a GIF, or just a glitch in Spartan/IE???
