Is this a reliable phone?

I recently got a Lumia 830, and the phone is great, but I feel it's a bit big and difficult for one-handed use. I'm think of selling that phone and going to a lumia 925 (or downgrading to a 735), which is comparable to the 830 but smaller. However, I'm reading through the thread and I see lots of issues arising, particularly after Cyan. Of course, I'm only hearing about the issues/complaints. Has the Lumia 925 been stable and reliable for most?

Yes.

My experience has been;
Lumia black the phone worked very well.
Developer preview not so well.
Now that my 925 has seen the Cyan update from T-Mobile I'm more than happy with the Lumia 925.

Especially since the device is mature and has been out for a while, it is reliable.
My 920, which is almost identical under the hood has treated me very well.

Now of course, by nature, you are going to see much much more complaints about any given device. People who have a perfectly working phone don't generally come to forums to complain about it nearly as much.

There are definitely some lemons out there, but just watch out or buy reputable and you'll be relatively OK.
