Is Windows 7 Professional the same as Windows 10 home?

I am wondering if Windows 10 Home is the same as my Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and would I have to upgrade afterwards to the next package?

Basically asking is it going to cost me money to have what I have now?

10 is 10 and 7 is 7. They are different and asking if they are the same is not making much sense.

Do you want to know if Win 7 Pro will upgrade to Win 10 Home? No. Your 7 Pro 64 bit will upgrade to 10 Pro 64 bit.. There is no "upcharge" for you to get Pro, your 7 Pro license gets you 10 Pro. Just upgrade within one year of release.
