Is your carrier on an unlocked prepaid 1020, the sim card provider?

Can somebody please clarify this for me as I have searched and searched for the answer to no avail? I bought my lumia1020 from Harvey Norman (I live in Australia), outright, unlocked and have my existing prepaid telstra sim in it.. Im also on the developers preview. However, the cyan update has now rolled out for the 1020 so I thought i had better downgrade to windows 8 with thev nokia recovery tool. The only problem is that telstra is the only phone company in Australia that is still listed as under testing . So when checking the availability, do i come under telstra or is my phone considered unlocked? Cheers

Your phone will be the country variant hence sim unlocked, to verify this go to "about windows phone" in settings and look under Carrier. If it is sim locked it will specify which carrier the phone is locked to, if it is unlocked it will show "CV" followed by country. For example I have a CV GB 920 so that falls under country variant for the united kingdom.

Ok, that's what I thought may have been the case. I am pleased about this! Just checking though, it wouldn't matter that my carrier does say Australia, but no cv?? I assume that part shouldn't matter?
