Issue Connecting Cortana to Xbox Live Account in W10

There is a new feature that allows Cortana to connect to your Xbox Live account, but I can't get it to work. If you go to Cortana > Settings > Connected Accounts, the option is there but after I type in my login info, a screen appears very briefly to confirm/approve permission for Cortana to access my account. But that screen quickly disappears and an error comes up saying "can't connect to the service right now, try again later". Anyone else having this issue or had it and fixed it??
