I'm not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but I have been having one pressing issue with not only Eclipse for Java programming, but also other apps that use Integrated graphics that would operate much smoother with the GPU. I try to start the program with the GPU in the keyboard by right-clicking on the desktop icon and going to Run with Graphics Processor > High-Performance NVIDIA processor, but it still uses the integrated graphics. I have tried going into the menu to select the processor for default use for the program, but when I apply the settings, nothing happens and it still uses the intel integrated graphics. More than occasionally, my SB will actually experience a problem where the intel graphics card restarts as I am using the program, which led me to using the GPU in the first place. I have run Eclipse using the NVIDIA GPU before, so I know it works much better, but now my SB will not apply the change I make to the default graphics card to use for the program, or any program for that matter. Is there anything I can do to make this work without permanently making the NVIDIA processor the one I use for all of my tasks?
Thanks!
