Is the camera still bad after the w10 update.? I mean, L640 camera on 8.1 is famous for its 'washed out' photos.. Are they still like that?

It is the "real" W10. Same as what the 950 runs. In fact, there have been two updates in the Insider program since the 950 was released. The latest release enabled Insider updates on the 950, so now the 950 folks can update to the same that we have.

Technically, it's a preview. But to say it's not the "real" W10 is not accurate. I am also running it, and it's fine, though the messaging app is a little slow.
