Jump to post option

I think there should be an option to decide which post you can jump to when opening a topic, whether it's the latest or the beginning.

Thanks for bringing this up, it's a point I'd like to discuss

I made the decision to have the two home screen panorama items (latest and particpated) automatically load the most recent post, as it makes sense that you go there to see the latest things people are saying.

When browsing the forums it's different so you don't automatically jump to the last post, instead loading the first.

Now in my head this makes sense, and of course the jump to first/last buttons are there for a reason, but do people think there would be a fair few users who wouldn't want this behaviour?
