Just bought Att 640XL

I just ordered a used 640 XL. Does it receive the Redstone W10M?

Does tap to pay work on it?

Does DTTW work?

lumia 640 xl is on the official upgrade to windows 10 list. so yeah you can upgrade it to windows 10.

I'm running the official anniversary update on my 640 XL & it runs very smooth. Great battery life. No tap to pay, though. Seems like only the 650, 950 & XL are the only qualified phones to use tap to pay. Hope to hear something in the coming weeks.

Nope, Fast Ring is already getting RS2 builds. I believe you should be able to get it through regular updates.

Also does tap to pay or DTTW work?

Double tap to wake works.

Mine is AT&T , I had to go through Windows insider to get AU. On the release ring.

For that phone, yes. For their other phones, the update is available. You are welcome to download the Upgrade Advisor app to see if you have an official update though.

The 640 XL is a Great phone, If it had an optional firmware update to Windows 10, to get rid of the 8.1 firmware, that will make it a true Windows 10 phone.
If you use the Windows 8.1 that's ok, but if you upgrade to Windows 10, please allow a up-grade the firmware to Windows 10.
