Welcome! What made you choose the Focus over the iPhone 4? I've recently had a few friends jump to iPhones from texting phones and I can't picture them leaving the platform.

Also check out BoardExpress for an easier time browsing the forums.

Quite a few people I work with have smartphones. I would say around 6-7 Droids and around 10 iPhones. Most of the people with iPhones have the iPhone 4 so I had a lot of time to check them out.

I think when the iPhone came out it was a revolutionary device. When I looked at the jump from the 3GS to the iPhone 4 there really was not a lot of features that made me want to get one. Hearing small rumors about the iPhone 5 and some of the features didn't really get me excited either. I think they are making very small increments each year.

Android to me seems like a cool sort of open source platform that you can do all sorts of things with. It has also given some of my coworkers problems since they are constantly messing with it. The hardware specs are not bad at all, but at the end of the day I seriously want a solid phone.

Here comes Microsoft with a completely different experience than the other two offer. WP7 has a crazy slick UI, and great performance. I chose it over the iPhone 4 because currently it is in a league of it's own, and MS is going to push this all the way until it is a pillar in the smartphone world.

I highly recommend WP7 over iPhone 4.

Welcome to our world,
I have to agree with you on microsoft pushing this until the very end ..I think you will see them taking big risks to be in the top 2 or 3 ..
