Man I am so impressed with this device. I am new Windows 8, but like it too. Does anyone know how to turn off the
"unlock" password? Thanks

Go to 'settings' -> 'lockscreen' -> look at the bottom, should be a on/off password toggle.

I am in Settings, but dont see Lockscreen?

If you go to settings, account, then sign-in options, you can set the time required for a password to "never require a password."
