Just got my Windows Phone

Hi, I just got my first windows phone HD7 used t mobile. I was wondering are there any apps you recommend I should get? Also How do I tell if my phone is updated to mango?

Settings > About (click more). If you are on version 7720.68 you are on Mango.

I dont think mine is Mango it shows OS Version 7.0.7004.0..

Welcome aboard, Anubis9! It's unlikely that your HD7 will have Mango, the 7.5 version of WP7. That's one of the original WP7 phones, and I'm guessing T-M -or any other source- has had that device in stock for a while. Expect to get update prompts when you connect, and hopefully, it will take you through all updates smoothly. Be sure you have the latest version of Zune installed (4.7) and good luck getting set up.

Yup, you are on the original version. Download Zune desktop if you haven't, and sync your phone.
