Just how low can MS go? L340? L240?

For me they should stop when the experience starts to become degraded beyond a certain point, otherwise they may start losing some clients. Using cheaper paper thin plastics, lowering the quality control on factory, using parts with slightly cosmetic defects, using very low end/cheap LCDs with horrid viewing angles, those are some examples of beyond cheapness that must not be crossed.

Otherwise we start having problems, like the touch inconsistencies on the 535 that ultimately translate to a bad experience on the clients view.

This 430 may be crossing that line. Lets hope they don't drop the ball further...

Specs aren't everything. WP is well known to be a very optimised OS, especially at the low end. iDevices have always had low specs, yet in all the test suites, run rings around far better specced Android devices, due to optimisation.

With Android, its all about the OEM. There are good Android phones, but there are a lot more rubbish ones. Having all the specs in the world won't help with a useless Android installation.

Specs aren't everything but, for example, having the latest processors usually means greater efficiency and battery life. WP is more efficient than Android, this is absolutely clear on the M8, and I'd really like MS to get the latest SOCs and really push the better battery life angle. Android will have have a hell of a time trying to catch up to WP on battery life, and MS really needs to exploit this gap.

I personally would like to see MS release a Lumia 130 that replaces the Asha range and gets those that just want a phone, maybe a first phone... Without a camera as I know a few people (elderly) who wouldn't have a phone if it had a camera. My father is one of those I would gladly pay ?10-?20 for a basic Lumia phone. Fine he won't ever upgrade, but the more it's seen the more people remember it, and recommend it.

Again, it's about planting a seed in someone's mind. MS need a full-range Lumia spectrum for people of all budgets!

Just my opinion.
