Just Ordered a 930

I just ordered a Lumia 930 and I have to say I'm kinda sorta really excited. I had been using a 925 for about a year when I carelessly set it on the wicker hamper in the bathroom and it slid right off and landed face down on the tile. Shattered the screen it was kind of pretty because the resulting image looked like a Pink Floyd album cover.
Anyway, it should be here in a couple days. Can?t wait.
 
Had mine for a couple of weeks now and I'm loving it, the only thing I miss from my L925 is Glance/Glance Background. That was such a cool feature, but alas, it is not available on the L930 due to differences in the screen hardware. But aside from that, it's a great handset, battery life seems to be better than on my L925, fabulous screen, and fast, not that the L925 was slow at all, but the L930 is noticeably faster. The latest Denim update that came through last week has enabled 4k video recording too, which is nice :)

Oh yeah, and the wireless charging is a nice touch, no more messing about with USB charging cables.

Its the very best WP in my opinion. You'll love it! You should also post a pic of the shattered screen btw I'm kinda curious to see it haha
 
The 1520 is very similar but with sd card, a big battery (because it's huge) and a bigger screen (I presume with glance). Thing is, it is huge which is only good if you are pretty sedentary. What's more, the huge screen on the 1520 is just another Lumia screen in a larger size. The screen on the 930, by contrast, is wow level beautiful.

So, you gotta choose, quantity or quality?

I got the 930. That means I can skip the Surface Phone 1 and grab the 2 or 3 instead once it works well. Perfect upgrade timing.
 
Oh if only HSPA+ didn't suck on AT&T, then I'd have ordered a 930. I still covet it once in a while here in the states. Congrats on the new phone!
 
I went back and for the between the 1520, M8, or the new Lumia flagship soon to come but decided I can?t do the size of the 1520, the camera of the M8, and the likely high price of the new flagship coming soon. Right now, to me, it seems like the best WP you can get right now. However, I?ll miss Glance but I?ll make do.
 
Yea, you think you'll miss glance? But as soon as you tap up the wow screen on the 930 you'll forget why.
 
Can I ask you all a question? Do any of you use Line? I see that sometimes the windows inside flicker. But only in line! Crazy. Right? Can anyone confirm it? Not to mention I'm rather disappointed in never for having their Windows phone version really far behind the ios and Android version! ��

Update: Ironically today Naver launched an update to Line! Issues gone :) Now I even have the Animated Stickers from iOS and Android! I'm much happier! Now I just need the Albums functionality and I'm a happy camper =D

Welp, i'm kind of disappointed right now. Even though I purchased through Amazon Where House they sold me a bunch of air.

I just got an email saying they no longer have it to sell and are cancelling my order.
