Do you know how fast the download speed is for Koodo's/Telus network? If you have any friends on Koodo see, ask them to do a speed test and compare the results.

Holy cow! I need to move to Canada! That is a HUGE difference. Then yes, switch back to the Icon. I don't understand why the 930 doesn't work on Telus' LTE network. The 930 was essentially the non-US version of the Icon. How ironic that a Verizon, US-only, phone works better outside the US than it does in the US.

if I understand the 930 will only work with lte from rogers. but the updates bother me a little bit. I would keep my icon, but you know I'll have denim on the 930 before cyan on the icon. I think that will be the same for windows 10.

if only the firmware could be installed with the developper preview.

Good point. Unfortunately, firmware thru DP is a non-starter for branded phones. For un-branded devices like the 930 an 1520.3 that's a whole different story.
