Kingston HyperX Impact RAM, good for laptops?

I am looking for a RAM for my laptop, and this time I need one which is specifically meant for laptops or notebooks, because my last experience with a PC RAM was not good, it got fried and ruined my entire notebook, this time I do not wish to take any chance. I have been suggested Kingston HyperX Impact RAM, the company is good, but is the RAM really good for Laptops, need a reply asap.

I've always upped the RAM on all my laptops. I've used Kingston and Corsair RAM and had no problems with either.
